Things to do in the Area 

Myoli Beach boasts pristine beaches covering over 10 km including Cola Beach.

The beaches are ideal for hiking, walks, swimming, snorkelling, surfing, kite-surfing, and fishing.

Gericke’s Point is well known for its tidal pools, and sea-life ideal for fishing and spear-fishing. Moonlight meanders are done on a regular basis, a must for the nature lovers.

Swartvlei and Groenvlei form part of the large lakes area with bass fishing also available at Groenvlei.

Sedgefield is a well-known kite-surfing and paragliding destination. There are a variety of water sports, hiking trails, whale watching, and cycling routes for guests to enjoy.

Many restaurants surround the area. A highlight of any stay is to visit the Farmers and Scarab markets on a Saturday.

A beautiful picnic spot named Jubilee Creek in Phantom Forest is on the banks of Millwood Creek, a forest stream lazily flowing through the area. This is an ideal day outing for the family, young and old. Take swim wear for the kids and a blanket to catch a nap on the grass. There is a beautiful pool at the end of the hike to swim in.

Short walks will also take you to old abandoned mines.
